"Hirunaka no Ryuusei" Live-Action Film Trailer Featuring Theme Song by Dream Ami Posted


Toho today released a 90-second full trailer for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Mika Yamamori's shoujo manga Hirunaka no Ryuusei/Daytime Shooting Star introducing its theme song "Hayaku Aitai" (I Want to See You Soon) sung by Dream Ami, one of the singers of 19-member girl performance group E-girls. As a solo singer, she recently performed the Japanese-lyric version of "Try Everything," the theme song for Disney's 2016 animation film Zootopia.

The official website for 28-year-old anime voice actress Yui Watanabe has posted a 150-second digest video from her "FUN FAN BIRTHDAY 2016" concert at Shinjuku ReNY in Tokyo on December 3, 2016, one day before her 28th birthday. She is best known as Yuri Oshimoto in the Teekyu anime franchise and Mikan Shiratama in PriPara.

Nintendo Ends Production of Wii U Console in Japan


As of this week, Nintendo updated the Japanese web page on its Wii U game console lineup to report that production has ended on both currently available console sets. The listings for both the Wii U Splatoon Set and the Wii U Premium Set state that they "ended production (in Japan)." Nintendo does not list new sets to replace these sets.
